Karasel.co.uk provides access to the Karasel Equine website. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully - if you do not agree with them please do not use this website. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. By using the Karasel.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms.

Our Contract (Order)

The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query.

When placing an order to purchase goods from Karasel, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and Karasel will only take place once the order has been accepted and processed, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.

Karasel reserves the right to refuse access to the website, to terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

Registering with Karasel 

In order to make a purchase on the site, you will need to register to create a shopping account. You will be asked to supply the following personal information:

- Your title, name and address, including an option to save different delivery addresses

- Contact phone number and e-mail address

You do not have to register with us until you decide to place an order.

When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately. When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed.

Ordering by Phone

Customers who prefer to order and pay on the phone, rather than online, can still benefit from any online promotions or discounts available to customers who have registered with Karasel and shop online.

In order to receive such discounts, telephone customers who are not registered with Karasel will need to provide their name, email address and payment card address details. 

Pricing

All products offered for sale by Karasel are priced in Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. 

Availability

We try to hold stocks of all styles for active products, however occasionally an item will be out of stock. If this is the case we will inform you.

Postage & Delivery

Most items will be despatched between 3-5 working days after ordering. Delivery is by Royal Mail or courier. Please note that a signature is required upon delivery. All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability.

If you would like express delivery please email us before ordering.

Products in the Custom XC Colours range are made to order and take approximately 14 days.

Offers & Promotions

All items ordered specially are non-returnable. These include, without exception, custom-made body protectors, all types of riding hats and carriage harness, driving bridles and driving collars and all items in the Custom XC Colours range. If you wish to cancel an order for special order items you must do so by email or by telephone within 48hrs of placing your order.

Payment

CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - The fastest way to pay - we accept all major credit and debit cards. 

We accept on-line payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card, and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details - no responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.

Returns

If you return an item to us within 10 days of delivery in perfect re-saleable condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange it or refund you with the original price. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: personalised and special order items, custom made body protectors and all types of riding hats. Personalised and special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and you will be responsible for the cost of return unless goods are faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the returned goods until they arrive at our premises.

If you wish to return an item please let us know and we will provide the most appropriate address.

PLEASE NOTE: Sale Items are non-refundable: we will exchange the item or send gift vouchers to the equivalent value. 

Fair Wear & Tear Guarantee

Most of our products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of receipt, providing they are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. If we feel it is necessary goods will be returned to the manufacturer for their comments. Please allow 30 days for an exchange or refund in these instances. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Hygiene Regulations

Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).

Customs  

Goods ordered from Karasel for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes levied once the parcel reaches it's destination country. Any such duties and taxes will be your responsibility.  

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as do we, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Liability

The information contained in the website is for information purposes. Karasel is not providing any recommendations or endorsements to any product or services promoted on the website. The material on the website does not constitute advice and you should not use the information on the website to make any decisions or take any action.

Use of the Website

The contents of the website may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent. You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using the website while connected to the Internet. You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way. You must not use the website for fraudulent purposes, spamming or any unlawful activity.

We will endeavour to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this can not be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs, we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.
